Conference: Volunteering in the European Union

A lively exchange of experiences characterised the conference “Volunteering in the European Union” which took place in Berlin on 11 and 12 November 2010. 120 guests from 16 European countries discussed topics as e.g. the promotion of volunteering among migrants, public framework for volunteering and the support of social entrepreneurs. All this made the conference a successful run-up to the European Year of Volunteering for the promotion of active citizenship 2011!

We thank all speakers, workshop chairs and all guests for their efforts and the inspiring discussions during the conference!
