Demographic change
Dealing with the demographic change confronts all European member states with great challenges: an ageing population changes the organisation of society, economy and politics.
While looking for ways to positively confront the demographic change in Europe, the member states are developing new sociopolitical concepts und strategies, especially regarding policies for families, senior citizens and policies on volunteering.
The Observatory pursues developments and debates on demographic change and provides further information about the topic for you in the following publications:
